1. The website today
The current Chartlen website is an informational landing page. It does not offer chart upload or analysis, does not create user accounts, and does not collect chart screenshots.
We do not embed advertising pixels or third-party analytics trackers in this version of the website. Standard server logs may contain technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and request time for security and reliability purposes.
2. The future iOS app
The iOS app is under development. When chart analysis is enabled, a screenshot may be transmitted securely to Chartlen's servers and to a contracted third-party AI service in order to generate the requested analysis. The production privacy notice will identify relevant service providers, processing locations, and retention periods before release.
Chartlen is designed not to request brokerage passwords, place trades, hold customer funds, or connect directly to a brokerage account in its first version.
3. Planned account and purchase data
If accounts and subscriptions are introduced, Chartlen may process an internal account identifier, Sign in with Apple information, subscription status, product entitlement, and analysis usage. Apple processes App Store payment credentials; Chartlen does not receive full payment-card details.
4. Planned safeguards
- Encrypted network transport for app and server communication.
- Private, user-scoped access to analysis history.
- Short-lived access to privately stored screenshots.
- Retention and deletion controls disclosed before public release.
- Access controls and audit logging for administrative systems.
5. Your choices
Account access, deletion, export, and screenshot-retention controls will be described here once those features are available. This page does not claim that unreleased controls are currently operational.
